I must admit ,when I took it out of the package, right away I thought it was to thin, but the first time I wore it outside
to my amazement it is very warm, and it makes a great under layer, also water proof .!!

I love this jacket! It is so light, but keeps you warm. It breaks the wind and it is all I need except on the coldest days here in mid-Missouri. I am 5'7" and a 160 lbs. and the medium fits me like a glove. the waist, the bottom, and around the hood. Keeping you SNUG AS A BUG! Zippered pockets insure I don't lose anything. It is well made and has sturdy construction. I get compliments from all my friends on how sharp it looks! To improve the water and wind resistance of this down jacket, What can I say? My brother has one, he got my son one. And I finally got one. These are warm jackets and very lightweight and packout well. I got the hooded version. They both have the one with no hood. They are identical otherwise. Pretty decent price as well for what you are getting.

This jacket will keep me warm. It weighs almost nothing and packs really small. Every backpacker should have something like this if they even think it might be chilly or cold when the are hiking.

This jacket is lightweight, yet very warm. Worn in bitterly cold (-25°f windchill) with only a tee shirt beneath it. Looks good, fit as expected, and is easly packable with its own stuff bag.

I have a hard time finding jackets that fit me (I'm 6'4 and about 265lbs.) And this jacket in the xxl fits great. I went ahead and ordered a second one. Very lightweight and not bulky at all but seems to really keep me warm. Hope this helps.

This jacket definitely runs small. Based upon other reviews, I ordered a XL (instead of my typical L). It fits just about perfectly! The jet black color is definitely black. It's a great jacket!

My bf loves this jacket, we thought it was gonna be thicker but it’s just fine, it keeps him warm on the cool winter days (he doesn’t like puffy thick jackets and this was very slim on him). He wore it for 3 weeks straight because he liked it so much. Worth it!

I live in northern Minnesota and I have worn this jacket in temperatures as low as -30* F (windchill) and found the jacket to be a capable jacket (I was wearing under layers and wasn’t outside for too long, 30-40 minutes while active).
Not a parka but a good lightweight jacket that can hold back the cold weather fairly well.

This down jacket is a true winner. Super warm, well constructed yet light weight. For the coldest days this jacket would be my pick. Great fit and well thought out design. You can still look awesome yet be comfortable in this jacket. It is worth every penny!!

Great coat - very warm but nice and light. Has great features it very adjustable and double zipper. Size runs a little small, however - I usually wear a large but on this coat I needed an XLg.

Very warm coat. There are a lot of down jackets on the market but this one is made with care. I tried it on a -25C day and had only a shirt beneath. I didn't feel the cold on the body.

I live in ridiculously cold Chicago and I already owned several winter down coats including North Face, Triple Fat Goose[ my previous favorite] and Mark Jones. I was still not totally happy with any of them. I bought this coat and it arrived yesterday. I don't want to take it off. It is very warm but soft and lightweight also. The pockets and hood are lined with down making them very warm. I don't even need to have a hat because the hood is that warm.
